Security
ScriptSafe
A very advanced and very powerful extension which can help you stop various malicious stuff to even reaching you by stopping scripts, since it stops scripts, it may even break most sites or just stop them from loading outright, it takes a while to get used to though, so you shouldn't just get it because I say so, those scripts that it stops needs to be allowed/trusted/temporarily to make things even load, what always needs to be allowed is the site itself, or it won't as said before, even load, the scripts that contains "CDN" in it's name is usually okay to allow. Everything google, facebook or whatever trackers should NOT be activated, same goes for stuff containing "AD", "Tracker" and so on in its name. It can also if you dig through the settings randomize things that google, facebook and so on uses to identify you, making you essentially invisible to their trackers. |
TrafficLight
Mostly shows various checkmarks on your searches when you're googling, to help you see if the site is safe enough to access. |
Adblock+ And/or uBlock Origin
Disables most ads on most websites (Yes, ads CAN be hacked and carry malicious stuff, so an ad blocker IS essential protection). These can also block elements on a page like those pesky cookie agreements, sign up to their mailing lists and whatever other annoyances they have. |
TamperMonkey
A very advanced extension where you can download and install various scripts you want to run before the website's scripts runs, there are for example popup blockers and things like that, which can be useful. This one's a little iffy nowadays though, doesn't seem like its users update their scripts much, but it's worth giving it a try, just remember, it doesn't do much if anything on its own. |
Microsoft Defender Browser Protection
This should be self explanatory, but instead of keeping the malicious file like Microsoft Defender normally does, this just outright refuses to let it in instead, making it even more secure than Microsoft Defender by default. |
Poper Blocker
Stops most popups, this is where you get most of your viruses and what not. |
HttpsEverywhere
An extension that'll try to take you to the "https" version of the site you're trying to access, making it harder for malicious people to see and use that information to for example steal your credentials, such as credit cards, usernames, passwords and what not (It's not 100% safe, but it's STILL worth having, since it makes it MUCH harder to get this info from you). |

OneTab
A useful extension that keeps you using less tabs, if you just click it, it'll close all of your tabs and only keep "OneTab" open with a list of all the tabs that were just closed. |

Other
BetterTTV And/or FrankerFaceZ
A Twitch extension that allows you to configure Twitch in ways you didn't think you'd be able to, even though you maybe wanted to, some settings having things you didn't know you needed or wanted for Twitch. |
AhaMusic
An extension that works like "Shazam", it'll "listen" to your tab and find the music that's playing there and link to mostly Youtube. |
